Ripple Capital is seeking a dynamic and self-driven Insurance Officer to join our growing financial services team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our insurance and agency portfolio, managing operational risk, and supporting loan and client services.

This position suits a proactive individual passionate about financial advisory, risk management, and community-based financial solutions.

• Drive new short-term insurance business through client prospecting and relationship management.

• Offer financial advisory services and cross-sell insurance, loans, and other financial products.

• Underwrite insurance policies, process quotations, cover notes, and renewals.

• Support clients with claims, loan insurance, and collateral management (including cessions and caveats).

• Conduct company-wide risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management

• Certificate of Proficiency (COP) – Short-Term Business is mandatory.

• Certificate or Diploma in Insurance (IIZ or equivalent) is an added advantage.

• Experience in insurance BROKING is a must.

• 2–4 years’ experience in insurance, banking, or microfinance operations.

• Solid understanding of short-term insurance products, underwriting, and claims.

• Experience in agency banking or digital financial services is a plus.
