What is your favourite part of your job?

Consulting firms are known for their ability to adapt to different client needs and environments. They can work on short-term projects or long-term engagements, provide strategic advice or tactical support, and adjust their approach as the client's circumstances change. This flexibility allows clients to tap into the specific expertise they require, when they need it.

What are the main tools of the trade?

Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or R to analyze and interpret data. Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView are used to create interactive and visually appealing charts, graphs, and dashboards to present insights effectively. Project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or Jira are used to plan, track, and manage consulting projects. Collaboration and Communication Tools, Survey and Research Tools, Knowledge Management Systems , Document and Content Management Tools and Virtual Meeting and Webinar Tools.

What training have you had?

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

I will be managing my company. The consulting industry will be thriving even more than today. As technology continues to improve, specific expertise will be not only be required but worth more.
