Information systems has a number of skills and I should have technical skills relevant to my area of specialization, analysing and evaluating systems skills, identifying requirements, and designing solutions that align with organizational goals are also important skills so that my tasks will be executed perfectly. Also, continuous learning, staying updated with technological advancements, and adapting to new challenges are key for success in the ever-evolving field of information systems.

What is your favourite part of your job?

It is highly rewarding to me when I encounter complex problems and challenges that require innovative solutions and use my skills and knowledge to tackle these problems, find effective solutions and seeing the tangible impact of their work and the value created.

What are the main tools of the trade?

Database Management Systems (DBMS) which provides functionalities for storing, organizing, retrieving, and securing data, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems which provides functionalities for finance, human resources, supply chain management, inventory management, Network Monitoring and Security Tools which provide features for network scanning, intrusion detection, firewall management, and security incident response and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems which help organizations track customer information, manage leads, automate marketing campaigns, and improve customer service are some of the important tools used in Information Systems.

What training have you had?

I have a Master’s degree in Information Systems .

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I will be a Director of a reputable company.
