What is your favourite part of your job?

Zimbabwe has been experiencing growth in its automotive sector, with an increasing demand for vehicles and related components. This growth presents employment opportunities for individuals interested in automotive manufacturing.

What are the main tools of the trade?

Power tools such as air-powered wrenches, impact drivers, drills, sanders, and grinders are essential for assembly, disassembly, and fabrication processes. These tools help streamline tasks, increase productivity, and ensure precision in our industry.

What training have you had?

I have a background in engineering and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. I also had formal training for machining, welding, and toolmaking.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I plan to be here still although the industry is changing so fast our tools will probably have changed. I think this is really exciting and I am keen to see how it changes in the next 10 years.
