Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to fill the vacant posts in the Division on Fixed-Term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance.

 Collects samples of Gold Ore at specific points and deliver them to the lab for tests for conformance to specifications.

 Account for Gold Ore dispatches and receipts at the mine/plant.

 Monitor all Gold mining and processing operations.

 Ensure security of company resources including Carbon Columns.

 SHE Management within the Mining gold section.

 At least 5 Ordinary level passes including Mathematics and English.

 Diploma in Mining/Metallurgy or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution is an added advantage.

 At least 1 year working experience in a mining environment.

 A qualification in sampling or ore quality control is an added advantage.

 Knowledge of CIL (Carbon In Leach) plants.

 Working knowledge of safety management systems, preferably with exposure to the NOSA SHE System.

 A clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
