Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome sector, has exciting and challenging career opportunities within its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division

Duties and Responsibilities

 Supervision of I.C.T personnel to ensure that set performance targets are achieved.

 Maintenance of the I.C.T Standards for computer systems access control and security in line with company policies and procedures.

 Regular implementation of housekeeping procedures, including scheduled and manual data backups.

 Research and advisory services on emerging technologies.

 Provision of Client-support Services.

 Electronic records management.

Qualifications and Experience

 A Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or Equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution plus at least 5 years post graduate experience, 2 years of which should have been in a supervisory role.

 Administration of server-side technology and networked (wired, wireless, switching, security and routing) computing systems.

 Managing and administration of Microsoft 365 products, Windows Servers, Exchange Online in a virtualized environment.

 Hands on experience on ERP Technical Modules equivalent to SAP Workflow, Security, ABAO, BI, Basis.

 Experience with IP based CCTV Surveillance and Monitoring.

 Familiarity with Data Protection and Cybersecurity Act.

 Strong client-focus and genuine desire to work with people.

 Working knowledge of safety management systems, preferably with exposure to the NOSA SHE System.

 Holder of a clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
