Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (Pvt) Ltd (ZCDC), a World Class Diamond Producer for the long-term benefit of Zimbabwe seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following positions that have arisen in the business:

Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the job is based at the Mine and is responsible for the following:

Summary of Duties:

• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in order to prevent breakdowns which affect production.

• Carrying out new installations and modifications on rigs.

• Carrying out daily inspection and routine checks on rigs.

• Ensuring that breakdowns are resolved in shortest possible time.

• Ensuring proper documentation is done for record keeping

• Adhering to SHEQ policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Five (5) O' Levels including English, Mathematics and Science.

• National Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting Automotive

Engineering.

• Apprentice trained Journeyman Class 1 Diesel Plant Fitter.

• At least three (3) years' post apprenticeship experience working in a Mining, Heavy Engineering or Processing environment.

• Experience with Epiroc and Sandvik rigs, surface drill rigs, general hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
