Job Description

Applications are invited for the following positions within CUT Hotels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Front Office Supervisor, the responsible candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests with a smile, fast and efficient check in/out of guests using the appropriate documentation and laid down procedures, collecting payments from all guests at check in/ out, pre-allocation of rooms using the reservations correspondence and any other available information, compilation and distribution of in-house list to end users, bill posting, balancing and finalizing guest accounts, checking all transactions from the revenue centres at the end of each day to ensure that the cash and receipts balances (Night Audit), good telephone skills, assisting guests with necessary information about the Hotel and its surroundings.

Handling guests complaints professionally.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have 5 “O” Levels including English Language and Mathematics or Accounts plus a Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism/Secretarial or any related field.

Candidate must be familiar with Hotel property management system.

One year relevant experience will be an added advantage.

The candidate must also be able to work under pressure and under shift system including night shift.
